| We explored a
lot of alternative strategies for shading the Train Hall interior. These
diagrams were developed to deal with the shading system design. They overlay
a projection of the parallel blade louver system (in fact in two inclined
planes on the existing roof) over a Radiance view of the interior of the
building. Strategies discarded included frit treatments (even 100% coverage
not sufficient and unacceptable from glare considerations), additions to the
structure (couldnt achieve sufficient density of shading). |
