Although videowalls that work in bright daylight are familiar (Times Square), they – LED - are very expensive. The Penn Station location could not justify an LED screen and we were forced to look at cheaper alternatives not designed specifically in daylight – e.g. DLP projectors. CRTs were discounted early since they can’t be arranged without large seams between units.
