Luminance mapping
Simulated object
Include data acquired
with a digital camera into lighting simulations
n Mapping of hemispherical HDR images
into “source” primitive objects in Radiance (similar to replacing
“gensky”)
n Allows the inclusion of real
environments in lighting simulations (e.g. for illuminance calculations,
glare assessment, etc.) with previous calibration of lens geometry and luminance
response of CCD
