Example of compound parabolic concentrator (CPC). The CPC blocks light
incident within its acceptance range by concentrating it at the parabolic
peaks, where it is reflected back out by an opaque coating. Light incident
outside the acceptance range is transmitted through the system, implementing
an angular selectivity.

mycpc1-pmap.pic : Photon map rendering with light incident outside
acceptance range, which is refracted by the CPC, producing
caustics.

mycpc2-pmap.pic : Photon map rendering with light incident within acceptance
range, which is reflected back out. No caustics below the
system, though some are visible on the inside of the
opaque layers.

mycpc1-rad.pic : RADIANCE Classic rendering with light incident outside
acceptance range.

mycpc2-rad.pic : RADIANCE Classic rendering with light incident within
acceptance range. RADIANCE Classic cannot model this
system's behaviour.
