ERRATA
In the theatrical lighting chapter, page 429, in the notes for figure 8.5 and in the main text just below it, the instructions say to *divide* FC by distance^2 to obtain candelas for a given measured angle.
This should be multiplication, not division.
It's expressed correctly in the equation 8.1.
