Desktop Radiance
In collaboration with the PG&E
Pacific Energy Center, Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory is
developing Desktop Radiance, a Windows 95/NT version of the Radiance
engine linked to an AutoCAD front end. Through a user-friendly user
interface that will include access to libraries of materials,
glazings, luminaires and furniture, Desktop Radiance is meant to
facilitate the consideration of energy-efficient lighting and
daylighting strategies in building design.
