Thank you Rob. From your link I realized for the US site (for GE) I was on
the consumer site that doesn't have all the available lamps and .ies files.

US commercial site for reference:
http://genet.gelighting.com/LightProducts/Dispatcher?REQUEST=LED_PRODUCTLIST
&path=LEDs_Replacement%20Lamps_Directional_PAR_PAR38

One question I have is should the luminous opening be 0 0 0, a point source
when input into ies2rad?

You should find .ies files to download at these links:

http://www.gelighting.com/LightingWeb/aus/products/technologies/led/led-par3
8/overview/<http://genet.gelighting.com/LightProducts/Dispatcher?REQUEST=IES
RESULTPAGE&Category=Lamps_Sealed%20Beam_PAR&SearchType=CatgSearch>

http://www.usa.lighting.philips.com/connect/tools_literature/photometric_dat
a_1_a.wpd

http://www.tcpi.com/spec-sheets/

http://www.lsgc.com/interior_led_lighting/definity-lamps/par38/

Lots more out there? If you find Toshiba, they are no longer manufactured.

Rob
