The IES LM-83 method for calculating Annual Sunlight Exposure may be a good place to start.

If you're comfortable with the concept behind it, and scripting and programming, you could jump to playing around with some pre-configured scripts.

I have make daylight simulation for a school with appartments above. I have calculat the daylight factor for diferent rooms. My question is if it's possible to calculate how many sun hours every point on the grid recieve.
