I've (finally) posted a tarball containing BSDFviewer for linux:
http://www.radiance-online.org/download-install/bsdf-viewer

simply unpack the tar, run sudo ./install.sh and it hopefully works, at
least on ubuntu.

Send bugs and errors to me and I'll try to trouble shoot them.
