Hi Sokol,

If you are OK using a Tregenza (or Reinhart) sky subdivision, then you can use rtcontrib to compute all the patch contributions at once. A complete explanation of the process is provided in Axel Jacobs' tutorial, with additional methods for handling BSDFs described by Andy McNeil.

Axel's tutorial:	http://tinyurl.com/884plcj

Andy's tutorial:	http://docs.google.com/View?id=dfjk2vdh_79ff7nxwgq

Hopefully, you can figure it out from these, but feel free to ask more specific questions.

Best,
-Greg

I know How to calculate the diffuse horizontal, or any titled surface of the whole sky, but in my case I wanted to compare in a patch-based mode. So I need to simulate a patch-based contribution of diffuse component in horizontal or any titled surface.
