[Radiance-general] converting unfinished renderings

Hi Mark, Christopher,

Using pfilt and adding ximage to the pipe works fine, if I had X on my 
system...
Ra_ppm and even ra_t16 converted unifinished renderings with succes in 
earlier days. These days I get an error.
Did you use "ra_ppm file.pic > file.pnm" on a recent distribution?
