Nick-

Weather data for Abu Dhabi, UAE, and Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, is available
from the EnergyPlus website:

http://www.eere.energy.gov/buildings/energyplus/cfm/weather_data2.cfm/re
gion=2_asia_wmo_region_2

There is a document that defines the fields in the data file under
'weather data format definition' link on the left side of the page.

These files contain hourly data, and usually have horizontal
illuminances and sky zenith luminance.

Regards,
Matt

Subject: [Radiance-general] Sky brightness in the middle east

Hi all,

Does anyone know, have any data, or know where I can find data on sky
brightness in the middle east, specifically UAE, Oman, Bahrain, Qatar
and Saudi?

Ideally, a frequency distribution of illuminances would be great, or
even just the illuminance values for a 15%, 50% and 85% CIE design sky.

Cheers

Nick
