Hi Pillo,

I know that I shouldn't have disabled these options, but what can I do now.
I went through the exercise of compiling rtrace_dc (modified rtrace) with
Genevieve Lucet last October. Apparently, she managed to compile rtrace_dc
under macox. Genevieve, could you maybe send pillo (and myself) a copy of
the binary?

Pillo, in case that does not work, we can communicate offline and try to get
this sorted out. In the meantime, I will forward you a copy of my email
communication with Genevieve. Let me know how it goes.

Christoph

Subject: [Radiance-general] daysim and macosX

hello!
I'm trying to compile daysim on the macosX OS and everything goes fine....
apart the rtrace command.... that's quite important!!
Is there anyone that has an idea of how to do that?
I noticed that in the Daysim installation script are disabled all the
options
to compile it on different platform (IBM, MACOSX....) and what I did was
to edit the rmake file... but unsuccessfully..... (rtrace was not compiled)
Could you help me?
thanks a lot,
pillo
