- Which release of Radiance?
  (reccommended is 3R1p20 from http://radsite.lbl.gov/radiance/pub/ )
- Which compiler version?
- What is the exact wording of the error message?

Without at least that much information, there's no way
that anyone could give you a useful suggestion. Most likely
you are trying to compile an outdated release, though.
