The Division of Engineering at New York University Abu Dhabi is soliciting
applications for a one-year or longer appointment as Post-Doctoral
Associate position in the area of urban climate modeling and remote
sensing.

The successful candidate will work in an intellectually stimulating
environment at New York University Abu Dhabi while interacting with
colleagues in the New York City campus of New York University, and the
research team members located at Massachusetts Institute of Technology and
the CNRS/University of Paris-Saclay in Paris. Benefits include a
competitive salary and health insurance, annual home-leave travel
allowance, generous housing, transportation and relocation benefits, and
educational subsidies for children.

Applicants must have a Ph.D. in (theoretical) Physics or Computer Science.
Experience in computer graphics and related algorithms like tree structures
for spatial information about 3D scenes and advanced knowledge of coding
and visualization is preferred. Excellent communication skills in English,
the ability to work in multi-disciplinary teams, and scientific creativity
are essential.
