Hi Hemshikha,

you need to include the site meridian, not just lat/lon:

-m 0 (if your time zone is GMT)

The default is -m 120

[axel at localhost ~]$ gendaylit -defaults
-g 0.200000			# Ground plane reflectance
-t 0.100000			# Atmospheric betaturbidity
-a 37.815214			# Site latitude (degrees)
-o 122.040010			# Site longitude (degrees)
-m 120.000281			# Standard meridian (degrees)
