It also probably depends on what options you used to generate the TIFF files. The -z, -L, -l, -f, and -w options each create different TIFF file types.

I understand that the "ra_tiff" has an "-r" command to reverse the conversion.... I have no idea if you will get the original image (I think that the conversion from HDR to LDR loses some information), but it might be useful for you.

Hello All,
I am almost certain, I am asking for impossible .. but time is crucial and I will give it a shot.
I accidentally overwrote my pic files (but have the tif files for the same that I converted) and wondering if it is possible to quickly retrieve pic from the tif files.
