Hi Rob, I used OpenDX to generate nice 3D-solids for selected incident angles from measured BSDF. These could be either exported as vrml or rendered in DX. For the xml-format, you could check bsdf2rad from head, which makes it easy to include a visualization step into scripts. Cheers, Lars.
