[Radiance-general] "Broken pipe" message on multi-core systems

Anyone seen this message on rad-generated rpiece runs lately?  I just 
saw on one of the eight-core systems on our big cluster and I'm 
wondering if anyone else has seen it.

I'm running the CVS version of Radiance, so it could be that I just 
built on a bad day.
