Thanks Greg,

one more question
    10 + 27/60 + 30/3600 => 10.458333

% gensky 10 13 10.458333 +s -a 57.01305 -o -9.988333

is mentioning of CET timezone not required or i use meridian info ? I have previously generated required data using CET

% gensky 10 13 10.458333CET +s -a 57.01305 -o -9.988333 is it correct?
 Best Regards,     Brajesh Lal

Hi Brajesh,

Gensky doesn't take HH:MM:SS format, but you can specify any number of digits using the alternative decimal hours. I.e., 10:27:30 translates to:

    10 + 27/60 + 30/3600 => 10.458333

% gensky 10 13 10.458333 +s -a 57.01305 -o -9.988333

Be aware that gensky doesn't have the more sophisticated orbital corrections, etc. that would permit it to predict the solar position with this kind of accuracy.

Best,
-Greg
