Hi Lucio,

It is the opposite of -c.

If you put something like:

!genbox white box 1 1 1

into a .rad file, then xform with the -c option 
does not expand it, writing

!genbox white box 1 1 1 | xform -e

to the output.

With the -e option xform does expand the 
external generator command in the file 
into the actual geometry,
with all the polygon primitives.
