[Radiance-general] error message

hi there
i've been using radiance on a debian linux laptop with no probs for a 
bit, but i've also now got it going on my desktop - using cygwin under 
windows.
it seems to work fine, and does the rendering very well - but it always 
seems to produce an error message, heres what it says:

Segmentation fault (core dumped)


does any one have any idea what this segmentation fault is? it also 
makes a file rad.exe.stackdump,
which has the contents:
