The nesting of threads in the archive is based in the "Message-ID"
headers in each message. Standards conforming mail systems always
preserve this header, and a reply will have an "In-Reply-To"
header referencing the message ID of the original.

Novell GroupWise fails to preserve/add those headers.
To solve the problem, simply use a decent mail system. Either by
switching to an external service, or by convincing your employer
to dump GroupWise.
