I've recently managed in exporting rad geometries (polygons) by convering them to vrml1 (rad2mgf -> mgf2inv -vrml) and then to vrml2 by using vrml2to2.exe http://java-house.jp/extra/bit-bessatsu-Java/CD-ROM/chapter6/converter/vrml1to2e.html Hope it works for you too!
