[Radiance-dev] Help compiling 3R9 for Linux

Hi Mark,

Thanks for doing this!  Is there any sense in posting the shared- 
library binaries, or is it better to use the static versions that  
Francesco compiled?  You guys let me know, because I haven't a clue.
