Another sign that Radiance continues to be popular is that the sales of Rendering with Radiance have gone up dramatically (4x) this past month.  Perhaps this is because the book is now available at Amazon.com with quick-ship.  It says there are 5 books in stock that can be delivered by Nov. 12th.  

Oh darn...that wasn't supposed to sound like an advertisement.  :-)

That's probably not 100% true, I've met a guy at the FROSCOM who told me
that they were (or are?) working on a lightning simulation program for a
thesis as there wouldn't be any tool for that available. He was looking
a bit confused when I told him about radiance. Even on irc people asked
me about it because they didn't hear about radiance before. So I think
the publicity can be improved pretty much - or googling skills of people....
